FAT Brands Inc., parent company of Hurricane Grill & Wings and Buffalo’s Cafe, will celebrate the taste of the Hawaiian islands this summer. In partnership with KING’S HAWAIIAN, Kona Brewing Company and Patron, the two brands announced six new limited-time menu offerings, available May 6 through July 15.

At Hurricane Grill & Wings nationwide, customers will find four brand-new dishes highlighting the flavors and feelings of the beloved Hawaiian islands. First up, the King’s Hawaiian Pulled Pork Sandwich will feature spicy sweet pulled pork tossed with KING’S HAWAIIAN original BBQ sauce, topped with sliced pickles and a bed of tangy coleslaw. Offering a Hawaiian twist on a Latin American favorite, Island Ceviche will feature lime-marinated shrimp and Mahi mixed with diced red onions, cilantro, tomatoes, jalapeno, garlic, red pepper and Hurricane Grill & Wings’ signature Coco Loco sauce. Hawaii’s iconic pulled pork will also be featured in a Kalua Pork and Pineapple Quesadilla, paired with sweet pineapple chunks and shredded lettuce. For those seeking lighter fare, the Volcano Shrimp Spinach Salad provides the ideal tropical escape, packed with fresh spinach, blackened shrimp, red onions and almonds tossed in a balsamic vinaigrette.

At Buffalo’s Cafe, the taste of Aloha will be celebrated with brand-new Mango Habanero Wings, tossed with sauce made from sweet mango, brown sugar and spicy habanero peppers, as well as the mighty appetizer, the Pig Pile. Set on a base of tumbleweed chips, this huge plate is loaded with fire-braised kalua pulled pork, crisp bacon, cheddar-jack cheese, two types of BBQ sauce, and cooling ranch. Customers at Buffalo’s Cafe can also look forward to trying the mouthwatering Kalua Pork and Pineapple Quesadilla and Volcano Shrimp Spinach Salad.

In the South Pacific, no summer celebration is complete without ice-cold refreshments. With this in mind, customers at both Hurricane Grill & Wings and Buffalo’s Cafe can enjoy two special ales or lagers courtesy of Kona Brewing Company, and a tropical-inspired cocktail, the Blue Crush, featuring Patron Silver Tequila, pineapple juice, lemon juice, simple syrup and Blue Curacao.

“When our team at Hurricane Grill & Wings and Buffalo’s Cafe imagines the spirit of summer, many of us picture family memories of time spent on a palm-lined beach, with a cool drink in-hand. This summer, we couldn’t be more excited to bring that feeling into our restaurants,” says Gregg Nettleton, president and COO of Hurricane Grill & Wings and Buffalo’s Cafe. “We’re always excited to offer our customers a new reason to return to our restaurants, but this one feels extra special as the taste of Aloha is something so many have memories of.”
