Safe social distancing and sanitization practices are a requirement for businesses looking to reopen to the public. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, many restaurants are looking to open their doors to the public. Hungr, the nationwide food service app, has developed a new feature aimed to assist restaurants in their sanitization and social distancing efforts. Customers can now order and pay for their dine-in services, all via the hungr app and completely contactless.

The new hungr app feature allows for customers and restaurant staff alike to abide by all sanitization laws while still continuing their service. This new feature makes it possible for guests to view the full menu, customize their orders as needed, and complete their transaction all through the hungr mobile app. By moving all guest interaction to a virtual space, customers no longer need to fear handling frequently-used menus and restaurant staff can benefit by avoiding any contact with a customer’s payment.

“By offering multiple ways for guests to order from their favorite restaurants and ensuring the highest possible safety precautions, hungr’s new mobile ordering feature will help increase guest orders for both dine-in and takeout,” says Cameron Grigoriadis, the Senior Product Manager for hungr.

Through the hungr app, guests looking to order a meal are welcomed automatically to the restaurant thru hungr’s user-friendly and easy to use interface and all payments through hungr are secure. Hungr also allows for curbside pickup and delivery, with features including vehicle identification and more.

For more information, all restaurants are encouraged to contact restaurants@hungr.com or get more info at www.hungr.com/restaurants. Hungr can be downloaded through the iOS or Android store.
