Grimaldi’s Pizzeria announced the launch of its first-ever free web game, “Ready, Set, Dough!” available now. Developed by Mega Cat Studios, a creative first video game developer, “Ready, Set, Dough!” brings the signature Grimaldi’s experience online with an inside look into the world of a Grimaldi’s server, delivering traditional coal-fired, brick-oven pizza to hungry customers.

“Ready, Set, Dough!” puts players inside a virtual Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, where players maneuver their server throughout the restaurant and deliver pizzas to each customer as they appear. The game features five levels of increasing difficulty that players must unlock to progress through the game. Each level begins with a goal number of pizzas to serve and features a different Grimaldi’s location, depicting the iconic red and white checkered tablecloth and classic pizzas. Upon completion of each level, the player will receive total shift earnings and advance to the next round. When a player provides excellent service, they’re rewarded with tips from the happy guests. 

The idea for “Ready, Set, Dough!” was born from an insight that Grimaldi’s CEO Joseph Ciolli had when visiting our restaurants,” says Pam Nedwetzky, Director of Marketing. “Joseph noticed several guests chatting and others using the paper activities sheets we provide, but there was an equal number of guests using their personal devices while waiting for their food. We thought, how do we convert the signature Grimaldi’s brand to a personal digital experience?  We decided to reimagine our experience as a digital game where the guest is in charge of getting the virtual pizzas to the tables.”   

Players may access “Ready, Set, Dough!” at on desktop, mobile or via the Grimaldi’s Pizzeria app. Grimaldi’s has additionally revamped their website with a new modern design, and recently switched to a new online ordering platform, available at, for guests to enjoy Grimaldi’s pizza, calzones, salads and more from the comfort of home. Guests can place orders for carry-out or delivery via the website, or delivery orders via DoorDash, GrubHub and UberEats. Grimaldi’s Pizzeria Rewards members will earn points with every order however they chose to experience Grimaldi’s, including via dine-in, phone, mobile app and the Grimaldi’s website.
