Houston-area independent restaurant group Goode Company announced that Goode Co. Kitchen & Cantina will open a new location in Houston’s River Oaks neighborhood. Goode Co. Kitchen & Cantina’s new location will be located at 2002 W. Gray St, Houston, TX 77019 and is set to open in March of 2025. This marks the fourth location of Kitchen & Cantina in Houston, but this time with a twist. The new restaurant will open with an adjoining tequila-forward watering hole: Bar Buena.
Guests will be able to enjoy their favorite Kitchen & Cantina menu items at the new location, including Mesquite-grilled Fajitas, Redfish on the Half Shell, Carnitas, Tampiqueña, Tres Hombres Plate and many more. In addition to the Goode Company culinary favorites, guests will also be able to partake in Bar Buena’s well-made cocktails.
Tucked behind the main restaurant off the corner of West Gray and McDuffie, Goode Company patrons will find the newly minted Bar Buena, an under-the-radar, cavern-like bar inspired by the ancient artisanal process of mezcal-making – a tradition that remains driven by hand and fire. The agave-focused menu will feature cocktails like the Oaxacan Old Fashioned, the Batanga, the Ranch Water, and of course a variety of different margaritas. Guests can also order from a select menu of lighter bites like a Gulf Crab Tostada, Carnitas Flautas, Aguachile Verde and more.
