Golden Corral invites all firefighters, police officers and emergency medical service personnel to enjoy a complimentary “thank you” buffet and beverage at any California Golden Corral restaurant on Tuesday, March 18, from 4 p.m. until close. Created in response to the devastating fires across California, First Responders Night is meant to provide a small “thank you” to the local heroes who risk their lives each and every day.

“Golden Corral has always been committed to supporting the heroes who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our communities,” said Lance Trenary, CEO of Golden Corral. “We are especially grateful to our California franchisees and restaurant teams for stepping up to host this event and for their support in preparing and delivering meals to the frontlines during these tragic wildfires. Their generosity and dedication reflect the heart of our brand, and we are honored to support their efforts in showing appreciation for these brave individuals.”

This special event will take place at all California-based Golden Corrals and is open to all first responders, including firefighters, law enforcement officers and EMS personnel. To receive the complimentary thank-you meal, first responders must either be in uniform or provide a valid work ID or badge that shows they are first responders. The free buffet and beverage offer is exclusive to Golden Corral locations in California and does not extend to Golden Corrals located in other states or to first responders’ spouses, friends, family members or other guests in their party. The complimentary meal is not available for To Go or Weigh & Pay takeout orders.

Golden Corral has a long history of giving back to those who serve, from its longstanding annual Military Appreciation Night around Veterans Day to its annual fundraising campaign for Camp Corral, which sends children of wounded, ill, or fallen military members to camp, as well as its ongoing support for local communities. With First Responders Night, the brand is extending its gratitude to the individuals who put their lives on the line every day to keep Californians safe.

“We saw firsthand the dedication and sacrifice of California first responders in response to the wildfires, and we want them to know that their hard work does not go unnoticed,” said Chief Operating Officer Roy Hinojosa of Golden Corral. “By offering them a free meal, we hope to provide a moment of comfort and gratitude in the midst of their demanding work.”

Golden Corral’s legendary, endless buffet features an abundant variety of quality, scratch-made dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests can choose from over 150 items, including USDA grilled-to-order steaks, pork, seafood, and shrimp, alongside traditional favorites like pot roast, fried chicken, meatloaf, mac and cheese, fresh salads, and more.
