DTT announced the completion of 1 million SmartAudits, accomplished earlier this month. Developed in 2008 by DTT’s EVP of Loss Prevention, Donald Boyle, SmartAudit reports are one of the company’s most utilized services and have enabled thousands of hospitality and retail customers to significantly improve ROI and overall operational efficiencies. 

Using a combination of POS, video, and audio data, the fully customizable SmartAudits provide a thorough, unbiased evaluation of operational areas such as transactional integrity, safety, security, customer service, productivity, and more. DTT’s in-house loss prevention professionals currently conduct almost 22,000 SmartAudits per month in over 8,000 active locations.
