After a warm welcome from the community last month, donovan’s Modern American Meatery added lunch and happy hour service to their already popular restaurant on November 30.

The kitchen, helmed by Executive Chef Lee Jasper will turn out a robust menu of sandwiches including a Certified Angus Beef donovan’s Burger with all the fixings, BLTs made with thick house-made bacon steaks, a Smoked Prime Rib French Dip, Lobster Rolls and more. Additionally diners will delight in flatbreads like the Vegan Curried Butternut Squash with apple, caramelized onion and arugula. Lunch service will take place Monday – Friday starting at 11 a.m.

The happy hour menu was developed by legendary Tampa mixologist Dean Hurst. Diners will enjoy a selection of $4 beers, $5 wines, and $6 house cocktails like the Big Guava and the Apple Cider Old Fashioned. For snacking, guests can also order donovan’s edible tallow candles, oysters, flatbreads or a country ham bord to pair. Happy hour is available on weekdays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the bar. donovan’s will also now offer 1/2 of bottles of wine every Monday. (Reserve bottles excluded.)
