This third location marks the brand’s first venture beyond Denver and Houston.

Guard and Grace, the renowned Denver-based modern steakhouse from TAG Restaurant Group, led by the acclaimed Chef Troy Guard, announces its upcoming location in the Queensbridge Collective, the new premier mixed-use development by Riverside Investment & Development and Woodfield Development.

Guard and Grace will debut its 10,224-square-foot venue on the 10th floor of 1111 South Tryon in mid-2026. This elegant space will showcase a seamless blend of refined indoor and scenic outdoor dining, a full-service bar, multiple private dining rooms, and a stunning 2,000-square-foot outdoor terrace that offers breathtaking, panoramic views of the Charlotte skyline. The restaurant is directly connected to both the public and private areas of the development, giving residential tenants of the development the exclusive benefit of serviced private dining from within the footprint of the apartment tower.

“The Queensbridge Collective is a stunning new mixed-use development and the perfect setting for the third location of Guard and Grace,” said Troy Guard, Owner and Executive Chef of TAG Restaurant Group. “When looking to expand, we want a city and location that matches TAG Restaurant Group’s energy, passion, and vibe–Charlotte and 1111 South Tryon deliver on every level. We are especially grateful to Riverside Investment & Development and Woodfield Development for bringing this incredible opportunity to life and allowing us to be part of such an exciting project.”

The Charlotte location of Guard and Grace will be the third for the award-winning modern steakhouse, joining the flagship in Denver, which opened in 2014, and the Houston location, which debuted in 2019. Charlotte’s vibrant culinary scene, reputation as a financial and cultural hub, and diverse audience made it a natural choice for the restaurant’s expansion. The Queensbridge Collective’s location at the crossroads of Charlotte’s burgeoning South End and Uptown districts ensures accessibility and visibility for a wide-ranging clientele, from business professionals to local residents and visitors seeking an exceptional dining experience.

The menu will feature prime beef selections, fresh seafood, house-made charcuterie, and seasonal vegetarian dishes, paired with an extensive wine collection and cocktail program. Guard and Grace has earned recognition from the MICHELIN GuideFSR’s Top 50 Independent Restaurants, and Tasting Table’s Top 20 Steakhouses in America.

“Guard and Grace’s overwhelming success in cities like Denver and Houston speaks for itself,” said Anthony Scacco, President at Riverside Investment & Development. “Troy and his team have built a fine dining concept that’s on basically every ‘Best Of’ list in the country–if not the world–and we are extraordinarily excited to see the great things they will do in Charlotte.”

The Queensbridge Collective is set to celebrate the first tower’s topping-out milestone in February, with occupancy planned for the second half of 2025. Originally announced in 2021, the project was designed to establish new standards for the Charlotte resident and tenant experience through a carefully curated mix of uses. With the first phase nearing completion, the development team is optimistic about advancing the second tower later this year.

“This project is a major milestone for us, and being the anchor for this exciting new development is truly an honor. We’re thrilled to become a part of the vibrant, growing community in the area, and we can’t wait to contribute to the energy by sharing delicious food, great conversations, and memorable experiences with the people of Charlotte. See you soon!” said Guard.
