Cotton Patch Cafe, a Texas-born, scratch-made restaurant serving Texas-inspired menu offerings, yesterday presented a $23,371 check to longtime partner Scottish Rite for Children. The donation will be used to support the hospital’s mission of improving the lives of children by providing quality care for orthopedic conditions as well as specific learning disorders.

On August 13, Cotton Patch Cafe celebrated its 33rd Chicken Fried Birthday by donating $1 for every Chicken Fried Chicken or Chicken Fried Steak sold that day and raised $23,371 in total. Cotton Patch Cafe has donated over $1.3 million to Scottish Rite since 2009.
