Nouveau Bar & Grill announced today that their third location will open its doors in April 2024. The new location will be called Nouveau Noir, which is an elevated spin on their original restaurant concept, which has gained major popularity through their two Atlanta locations. Nouveau Noir will be on the North Dallas Corridor at Village on the Parkway in Addison, Texas.
The new location, which is just under 4,000 square feet, will be one of the latest restaurants in North Texas’s lively open-air shopping destination that houses an exciting mix of entertainment, dining, and retail options. Nouveau Noir, owned by chef, restaurateur, and philanthropist, Ebony Austin, is looking to be the go-to option for brunch, lunch and dinner option for patrons in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
Since opening its doors in October 2019, the Chicago-themed restaurant has gained buzz as one of the hot spots in Atlanta’s lounge and fine dining landscape. The restaurant’s signature dish, the Ultimate Cajun Seafood and Grits, has been one of its highlights that quickly gained national acclaim. Combining chargrilled shrimp, salmon, and crab meat over stone-ground grits, topped with peppers and union paired with a savory Cajun cream sauce, this culinary masterpiece has captured the hearts and palettes of customers.
“I’m so thankful to be able to bring an elevated Nouveau concept to North Dallas,” says Owner, Ebony Austin. “With Nouveau Noir, of course, you are going to get many of the items that Nouveau is famous for, but we are adding more tasty menu items, creative drinks and over-the-top events,” she adds.
One of these concepts is the restaurant’s Mimosa Jam Brunch, which is full-out day party consisting of live DJs, bands, food, prizes and shows. Past brunches have been hosted or attended by the likes of: Kandi Burruss, 2 Chainz, Trina, Rick Ross, Keri Hilson, Lil Mo, Keke Wyatt, Pretty Vee and more.
The eatery’s current menu includes flavorful comfort foods such as: Deviled Eggs, Chicken and Waffles, Jerk Wings, Turkey Burger Sliders, Sticky Fried Ribs, Four Cheese Spinach Dip, Buffalo Shrimp, Fried Shrimp Po’ Boys, Impossible Burgers, Windy City Crab Cakes, Cajun Shrimp & Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, Michigan Avenue Ribeyes and more.
Austin also created a line of stone-ground grits, Nouveau Creations, which comes in three flavors: Original, Garlic & Herb and Jalapeno & Cheddar. The mouthwatering grits line are now available in Food Lion stores throughout Georgia, with 100% of the proceeds supporting HBCU students with scholarships, food, gift cards and more. To date, Nouveau has given away over $200,000 in scholarships to HBCU students.
“We are so excited about coming to North Dallas,” says Austin. “Not only are we looking forward to helping boost the city’s economy by opening our third location there, but we are eager to pour into the community, which continues to be a huge passion of mine.
Aside from being the owner of Nouveau restaurants, Austin also has a thriving Nouveau food truck, and an impressive multi-million-dollar real estate portfolio throughout Dallas. Ebony stands as a testament to determination and innovation. Her award-winning hospitality ventures are a testament to her expertise and unwavering dedication.
To date, Nouveau Bar & Grill has gifted over 5,000 families with ring lights, computers, gaming consoles (X Boxes, Playstations), bicycles, dirt bikes, BEATS by DRE headphones, cash, gift cards and through her annual Christmas event. Before that, she surprised one deserving Howard University Student, Michael Wright, with a $15,000 scholarship on Good Morning America! Also, Austin recently partnered with U.S. Foods to provide food, vegetables, and necessities for families facing food insecurity at both Howard University and Morehouse College.
