The much-anticipated Naperville location of Blue Sushi Sake Grill will officially open its doors Saturday. Located within the Water Street District at 123 Water Street Suite 111, Blue will bring a whole new sushi experience to Naperville.

Pairing high quality ingredients with bold, yet approachable flavors, Blue offers guests a truly dynamic dining experience. Traditional maki, nigiri and sashimi are offered along with specialty options such as Poke, with wild sockeye salmon, sweet onion, wakame and avocado tossed in a sesame dressing, as well as Snapper Chimichurri, thinly sliced madai with cucumber, cherry tomato, rocoto pepper, olive oil, marcona almonds and chino chimichurri sauce. Blue’s menu also features a variety of Asian-inspired dishes including the River Rock Beef Tenderloin, tender beef served on sizzling hot rocks with jalapeño ponzu and yuzu kosho, and the Kaiso, a salad with red and green tosaka seaweed in sesame dressing served with yam noodles, cucumber sunomono and dashi with the option of adding grilled tako or snow crab.

Along with signature cocktails, beer and wine, Blue also offers an authentic yet approachable list of premium cold sakes, with tasting notes and a basic overview of the spirit. Blue’s sake flights come with three, 2-ounce pours, and offer a fun tasting experience where everyone is an expert.

Blue will officially open its doors Saturday, June 10 at 4p.m. Regular hours will begin Sunday, June 11, which include Monday to Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 9 p.m.
