Bloomin’ Brands, Inc. announced the appointment of Beth Scott as Senior Vice President of Bloomin’ Brands and President of Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. Scott will be filling the position at the company’s Fine Dining brand left by Skip Fox who announced his retirement last month. Fox joined the brand in 2001 and has been the president since 2004.
“Under Skip’s leadership, Fleming’s has grown into one of the nation’s most beloved Fine Dining steakhouses known for exceeding expectations in quality and service. We will miss Skip, and wish him a long and healthy retirement,” says Liz Smith, CEO.
Scott joins Bloomin’ Brands from Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, where she led the food & beverage experience planning & integration team responsible for all park & resort dining experiences in Orlando, Anaheim, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Paris, and Tokyo. Prior to Disney, she served as Vice President of Global Products, Food and Beverage and Wellness for Hilton Worldwide and has held leadership positions at Planet Hollywood, House of Blues and Loews Hotels.
“Beth’s extensive hospitality experience makes her uniquely qualified for this role,” says Smith. “Her expertise in each of the components that creates the ultimate dining visit will enhance the already high expectations that our Fleming’s guests have come to expect from this brand.”
Scott holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance from Boston University.
