BJ's Restaurants announced the opening of its newest restaurant in Las Vegas on June 20, 2011. The new BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse is the latest addition to the one million-square-foot Centennial Center in northwest Las Vegas.
The restaurant is approximately 8,500 square-feet, contains seating for approximately 280 guests, and features BJ's extensive menu, including BJ's signature deep-dish pizza, award-winning handcrafted beer, and famous Pizookie dessert. BJ's highly detailed, contemporary decor and unique video statement, including BJ's 103-inch plasma display and several high-definition flat panel televisions, creates a high energy, fun, and family-friendly dining environment.
"We are very excited to open our newest restaurant in Las Vegas, which achieved opening-day sales in excess of our expectations," says Jerry Deitchle, chairman and CEO. "Our new Las Vegas restaurant is our third restaurant in the Las Vegas market, joining our very successful restaurants in the Las Vegas suburbs of Henderson and Summerlin, and represents our fifth restaurant in the state of Nevada, where we have enjoyed solid consumer acceptance of the BJ's brand.
"We currently remain on track to open as many as 12 to 13 new restaurants during 2011, with eight additional restaurants currently under construction," Deitchle says.
