Underscoring the notion that “Every Day is St. Paddy’s Day at Bennigan’s,” the restaurant chain is keeping the celebration going throughout March, offering special drinks and a chance to win prizes.
Drink specials introduced at the beginning of March featuring TY KU, a line of flavorful liqueurs co-owned by chart-topping music artist CeeLo, have proven to be a popular addition to Bennigan’s extensive specialty drink menu. The Lucky Lemonade and Green Island Breeze cocktails are even featured in YouTube videos.
Bennigan’s also partnered with Pabst Blue Ribbon for this year’s St. Patrick’s Day, introducing the all-new Bennigan’s Brew, featuring a signature glass. For an authentic way to begin or end their meal, guests can savor Bennigan’s signature Irish Coffee, featuring Jameson Irish Whiskey. In the spirit of genuine Irish hospitality, the fresh coffee is sweetened to the guest’s taste and housemade cream is lightly whipped and layered tableside.
Bennigan’s “Get Lucky” St. Paddy’s Day campaign is running through the end of March, with scratch-off cards that enable restaurant guests to instantly win free meals, appetizers, and desserts. In addition, a special microsite, getluckyatbennigans.com, as well as the restaurant’s Facebook page, lets fans enter to win a trip to Europe by visiting the special “Get Lucky” app.
“There’s no better time of year to experience Bennigan’s than St. Paddy’s Day, but just because the special day has passed doesn’t mean we’ve stopped celebrating,” says Paul Mangiamele, president and CEO of Bennigan’s Franchising Company. “That’s why we enlisted our friend CeeLo, and his fabulous TY KU liqueurs, to add some star power to our month-long festivities.”
Bennigan’s is in the midst of a comeback, opening an average of one new restaurant a month in 2013, for a total of more than 150 restaurants open or under contract worldwide.
