B Square Pizza opened Thursday, October 1 and will dish out Detroit-style pizza made from fresh ingredients for contactless delivery to Chicago’s northern suburbs. In addition to more than ten specialty pizzas, the menu includes fresh salads, crispy chicken wings made from organic chicken, baked pastas and housemade chocolate chip cookies and hot hand pies for dessert.

The foundation of the pizza is the light and airy crust complete with crispy corners. The concept came about when Michigan-native Executive Chef Michael Brownell (Saranello’s) and Chef/ Partner Mychael Bonner (Saranello’s, Di Pescara, The Ivy Room and Petterino’s) were experimenting in the kitchen to create the perfect Detroit-style pizza dough, and B Square Pizza was born.

The square-shaped pizzas are pan baked and can be ordered in 12 inch and 16 inch. Signature pies include The Mike B’s Special with sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, red onions, olives and pickled peppers, Mama B Square with all-beef meatballs, pepperoncini peppers, Classic Tomato with Italian tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil, extra virgin olive oil, Mushroom with shaved cremini mushrooms, robiola cheese, truffle oil and white sauce, Triple Green with fresh garlic, spinach, kale, arugula and red sauce and more. In addition to Detroit-style pies, thin crust and gluten-free thin crust pizzas are available.
