The Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) has announced the creation of a fund in honor of its late President and CEO, Fritzi Woods, who passed away unexpectedly last week.

The Fritzi Woods Aspire Higher Fund will provide leadership development opportunities for women in the foodservice industry in support of WFF’s mission of advancing women leaders and Woods’ vision for the organization. WFF’s goal is to reach $100,000 in donations in 4 days and then continue to grow from there.

“This fund will enable the development of a new generation of leaders and create a lasting legacy for Fritzi as we continue the momentum she created to deliver on the vision for women to aspire higher,” says Laurie Burns, WFF Chair and Darden Restaurants senior vice president, Specialty Restaurant Group Strategic Platform & Development.

Tax deductible donations can be made to the Fritzi Woods Aspire Higher Fund online by clicking here or checks may be mailed to the Women’s Foodservice Forum at the corporate address in Dallas.
