This summer, Journee, an organization dedicated to the growth and education of restaurant professionals, serves up new ways to engage in the spirit of community and learning. For the first time, Journee will give everyone access to stream content for an intimate, behind the scenes look at what takes place in the Colab with Journee TV, while Journee Co.create will partner with established brands to design and operate experience-based retail spaces. Opening a restaurant? Journee Boot Camp hosts a two-day seminar exploring the ins and outs of launching a restaurant, while the Colab continues to supply food for thought with classes and talks covering all angles of the industry.

“Journee is a platform for over 100 working professionals to teach classes and share their stories,” says Anthony Rudolf. “The goal is to create a central place for restaurant professionals to gain exposure to new ideas and new connections.”

This summer, members and non-members alike can tap into the company’s new resources to curate their own way to experience Journee:

Journee TV: Launching on July 6 for the first time, anyone, anywhere, can access over 50 classes conducted over the past year in the Manhattan Colab. Held on a Netflix-style platform, viewers can sip wines with the best sommeliers in the world, watch intimate one-on-one interviews with industry greats, and take heed from others’ “Worst.Decision.Ever” from the At The Pass Series, with the likes of Food Writer/TV Personality Gail Simmons and Chef Missy Robbins from Lilia. All-you-can-enjoy talks on leadership, budgeting, best restaurant practices, wine tasting, coffee, and more, are on offer starting at $8/month.

Journee Co.create: Headed by Rudolf and Sandra Di Capua, Co.create is a collaborative development firm that partners with established brands to create retail spaces.  By connecting authentic hospitality know-how and ambitious restaurant professionals with big brands and products, Co.create’s mission works hand-in-hand with that of Journee—to raise the standards of the industry.

Journee Bootcamp: From permits and liquor licenses to branding and design, Journee's 2-day boot camp provides access to seasoned professionals and experts in the industry who will teach you how to open and operate your restaurant concept.

Journee Colab: A bright, airy loft in the Flatiron District is home to Journee, where membership is exclusive to restaurant professionals ($365 a year). All classes, seminars, town hall meetings, and special events are included in the membership. A detailed schedule of events can be found here. Members can also drop in for office hours between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays.

Journee is a community for restaurant professionals with its first location based in New York. Members receive access to unlimited classes, guidance from industry vets, and a collaborative space for meetings or catching up with peers in the heart of the Flatiron District. Acting as a home for ambitious and curious thinkers and doers in food, beverage, and hospitality, Journee serves as a place to discover, share, and collaborate with peers in the industry.
