The Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) and The Coca-Cola Company named Marilyn L. Jones, director of process improvement, the recipient of the Chris Lowe Scholars Award.
The annual Chris Lowe Scholars Award recognizes high potential women in the foodservice industry. The award is named for Chris Lowe, a Coca-Cola veteran who championed women’s leadership and development at the company.
“In large-scale and complex organizational change initiatives, Marilyn has consistently provided thorough and innovative solutions to very diverse initiatives and opportunities for enhanced organizational performance,” says Dr. W. Elliott Stephenson, vice president, human resources at Ben E. Keith Company. “She approaches each effort with a very analytical view and balances this perspective with sensitivity toward corporate and individual needs and priorities.”
A 25-year veteran employee of Ben E. Keith Company, Marilyn is currently leading an enterprise-wide initiative to streamline and automate administrative functions across the enterprise. She recently completed a project to restructure the company’s cash receivables process in order to streamline the system resulting in enhanced efficiency, expanded security, and an automated reconciliation process.

Marilyn has served as a volunteer for WFF over the last four years, is a member of the Keith Leadership Initiative and is an advocate for leadership development.
