The Restaurant Loss Prevention and Security Association (RLPSA) announced that its president, Vince Vittatoe of Bob Evans Farms, has resigned to take a role outside the restaurant industry.

Current Board Member James Brussow of Dave and Buster’s will serve as Interim President of the Association through the remainder of the membership year.

“Vince’s leadership has prepared our organization for the challenges that lie ahead,” says James Brussow. “He has left the organization on a solid foundation.”

Mr. Vittatoe served two years on the Board of Directors before being named president after the 2014 annual conference.

“It has been an honor to serve as President of RLPSA,” Vittatoe says. “I leave knowing that the future of the organization is in very capable hands and will continue to grow and evolve.”

Mr. Brussow served as president of RLPSA in 2013 and oversaw a dramatic shift in the organizations future, including the changing of the associations name to its current moniker.
