Bridor, an industrial baker of European bread and Viennese pastry, has named Olivier Morel senior vice president of sales in the U.S.

Morel brings more than 15 years of U.S. and international gourmet food sales and business experience to Bridor.

“The U.S. is our priority market, and Olivier is ideally suited to unify and expand both our retail and foodservice sales efforts here,” says Jean-Francois Duquesne, CEO of Bridor. “His deep industry knowledge including category management, will help customers maximize profits with premium products that reflect new food trends and meet ongoing demand for quality baked goods.”

Morel most recently served as vice president international at Fauchon Paris and worked as sales director for Danone in the U.S. and abroad earlier in his career. He joins Bridor as the company undergoes a $32 million expansion of its Vineland, New Jersey product facility.

“Bridor is an amazing company with the heritage, baking mastery, and technological leadership that is second to none,” says Morel. “With the expanded production line, we will provide our customers with the quantity and quality of products they need. I am personally committed to delivering heightened customer responsiveness and care.”
