Snuffer’s Restaurant & Bar, a Dallas-based institution renowned for its burgers and original cheddar fries, has announced it will be expanding in 2015 with two new restaurants. Specific dates for the openings will be released in the near future.

Snuffer’s has enjoyed a long history in Addison, Texas, on Midway Road but has decided to move a few blocks north to a new location at 4180 Beltline Rd. The 5,599-square-foot restaurant will seat 170 guests and the 352-square-foot patio will offer seats for 16 people.

The restaurant will share the real estate site with a sister Firebird Restaurant Group concept, Taqueria La Ventana. All existing employees will have the opportunity to move to the new location. In addition, the company predicts that an additional 15 to 20 new positions will be created.

Red Oak, Texas, will be a new market for Snuffer’s. Located at 132 E. Ovilla Rd. in the Ovilla Road Shopping Center, the 3,600-square-foot restaurant will seat 99 guests. Positions for 50 employees will be created as part of the opening.

“Snuffer’s has been an iconic brand in North Texas for decades, and we are so pleased to open a fresh, new Snuffer’s in Addison and bring the Snuffer’s menu and outstanding service to Red Oak,” says Mike Karns, CEO, Firebird Restaurant Group LLC, which operates Snuffer’s Restaurant & Bar along with three other restaurant concepts including El Fenix, Meso Maya, and Taqueria La Ventana, with 32 locations in two states.
