Rick's Cabaret International, Inc. announced the opening of its newest military- and sex-appeal-themed Bombshells sports bar and restaurant in Austin, Texas. This is the company's third Bombshells in Texas; the other two are in Dallas and the Houston suburb Webster.
The highly visible, 8,000-square-foot restaurant and bar includes an extra 2,600-square-foot patio and is located at 15119 North Interstate 35.
"We are very excited about this opening as we continue to evolve the Bombshells concept," says Eric Langan, president and CEO of Rick's Cabaret International. "Our Austin location features our latest improvements and the best outdoor patio space yet. It is partially covered with cooling misters and heat, enabling it to be used year-round."
Bombshells combines multiple restaurant and entertainment concepts in one location. In addition to the big outdoor patio, there are big, flatscreen TVs and popular local bands providing live music.
Two other Bombshells are in active development: South Houston, at 12810 Gulf Freeway, which is targeted to open by the end of September; and Spring, a suburb north of Houston, which is slated to open this fall.
RCI's objective is to have a total of 10 sports bar/restaurants open or in development by year end calendar 2014, with a cluster in Texas and possibly others outside the state in select cities having heavy tourist and convention traffic.
