This month, The Flying Biscuit Café, the Southeast’s leading all-day breakfast restaurant chain, celebrates 30 years in business. In 1993, Flying Biscuit opened its first location in Candler Park, Atlanta. Fast forward to today, Flying Biscuit has expanded with over 30 franchise locations across the Southeast, bringing the best of southern comfort food and hundreds of thousands of freshly made biscuits to customers every year.
The all-day breakfast restaurant continues to offer a quintessential neighborhood spirit and a Southern-inspired menu using fresh ingredients at its locations throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas. With each location baking more than 20,000 biscuits every week, the restaurants have become anchors in their respective communities.
Key markets with significant growth in recent years include Houston, TX, Charleston, SC and Raleigh, NC, with stores averaging over $2 million in annual sales. The chain has seen the most significant growth this year in Texas, with three new openings in Houston, Richmond and Kingwood. New locations are planned for additional markets in 2023, 2024 and beyond.
