Famous Toastery, a 25-unit better brunch franchise brand known for its “Famously Fresh” menu, has added Kellyann Higgins as its new Senior Director of Training and Development, bringing to the franchise brand over a decade of experience in successfully developing people to reach their highest potential.

In her new role, Higgins will define what has made Famous Toastery successful for many years by capturing the culture, refining procedures and highlighting guest services in training programs that will support the brand’s continuous growth. She will also refine training programs and overall procedures for franchisees that are engaging and yield positive business outcomes.

“Having owned my own business and realizing the challenges that come along with the journey, I look forward to ensuring the success of franchisees by providing the training and development tools they require for clear direction, consistency, and execution that translates into results for their business,” says Higgins. “Working with brand leadership and frontline employees, I’ll take a collaborative approach in helping those across the entire system achieve optimal performance through training programs that are structured, engaging and capture the systems and values of the brand.”

Higgins previously served as the Director of Training & Operation Services for Mimis Café overseeing people development and the implementation of operational systems and processes. Higgins was also a successful small business owner and operator for many years where she learned the importance of employee engagement and a positive culture as the key factors in building relationships and achieving sustainable results.

“Kellyann joins the Famous Toastery family in during a key time for our brand expansion, as we grow across the country,” says Mike Sebazco, President of Famous Toastery. “With her training and development experience, efficient approach and passionate personality, she will ensure our commitment to an incredible customer experience only gets stronger as we enter new markets now and into the future.”

Famous Toastery operates in three different states, has six locations in development, projects to have 26 locations operating by the end of 2023, as well open five additional locations in 2024. The brand aims to bring brunch, enjoyable hospitality, and community under one roof to other markets in the country with the help of new and existing franchise owners. With an emphasis on perfecting classic breakfast and lunch items and cultivating fun beverages, Famous Toastery not only owns brunch, it makes it Famous.
