Lou Moshakos, founder of LM Restaurants, Inc., recently signed a long-term lease as the master tenant of two adjoined buildings on East Martin Street in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. Moshakos is planning to use the spaces at 17 E. Martin Street and 19 E. Martin St. to open two new restaurants.

One concept would be reminiscent of a European bakery, with specialty coffees, sweets, breads, and sandwiches, all made in-house. The second concept is slated to be a casual dining restaurant yet to be named. Moshakos did confirm it will not be a Carolina Ale House.

Other Signature Brand projects coming soon include Vidrio, a Mediterranean concept opening in early 2016 at 500 Glenwood Ave. below the Carolina Ale House in downtown Raleigh, as well as a brewery concept in late 2016 with a second Hops Supply Co. location in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina, at 155 N. Front Street. As for Carolina Ale House, a new location will open this year in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and in Richmond, Virginia, in 2016.

LM Restaurants, Inc. is the hospitality management company affiliated with 21 restaurants in the Southeast and seven brands. These restaurants include Bluewater, Carolina Ale House, Eddie Romanelli’s, Henry’s, Hops Supply Co., Oceanic, and Taverna Agora.
