Centennial, Colorado-based The Egg & I Restaurants announces the opening of its 11th Dallas/Fort Worth restaurant on Monday, June 1. The restaurant opens at 6:00 a.m. and is located at 6333 Camp Bowie Blvd. on the corner of Camp Bowie Blvd. and Bernie Anderson Ave. in Fort Worth, Texas.

On May 31, the restaurant will donate 100 percent of its net proceeds from its private, pre-opening training day to A Wish With Wings. A Wish with Wings is a nonprofit organization that was created in 1982 for the sole purpose of granting Magical Wishes for young Texans with life-threatening conditions. With every wish granted, they give the gift of hope, happiness, and promise to a child who is facing an uncertain future.

“Through the generosity of corporate partners like The Egg & I, we are able to grant more wishes to children facing an uncertain future,” says Judy Youngs, executive director of A Wish With Wings.

“We are very excited about this event supporting A Wish With Wings and about our new restaurant opening. The Fort Worth community has already welcomed us with open arms and we cannot wait to become more involved in our new community and to make new friends,” says Ali Agnew, general manager of the newest The Egg & I Restaurant. “We are also very pleased our restaurant is creating 45 new jobs in Texas.”

“The opening of our 117th restaurant nationally is a significant accomplishment for all of us at The Egg & I Restaurants. I want to thank our entire team for their dedication and tireless efforts to ensure we deliver an exceptional guest experience every day in every restaurant,” adds Don Lamb, president and COO of E&I Holdings Inc., parent company of The Egg & I Restaurants. “We are very excited to bring our award-winning breakfast and lunch entrees to our newest restaurant in the Fort Worth community.”
