Today, O’Charley’s Restaurant + Bar launches its annual “Give $5 Get $5” and all-new “Give $10 Get $15” campaigns to raise money for The Folded Flag Foundation.
Through November 12, dine-in guests will be invited to Give $5 or Give $10 to the Folded Flag Foundation and receive a coupon for $5 or $15 off their next in-store meal, respectively. Online guests can choose to Give $5 and receive an immediate $5 off their online purchase. The Give $10 Get $15 offer is only offered in-store.
One hundred percent of all contributions received by the nonprofit Foundation go directly toward educational scholarships and support grants for the families of our country’s service members who gave the ultimate sacrifice. To date, O’Charley’s has raised more than $2M for the Foundation.
“Supporting Gold Star families through The Folded Flag Foundation is something we take great pride in as a brand,” O’Charley’s CEO Craig Barber said. “Every dollar raised goes directly to helping these deserving families, and our team members show great enthusiasm the Folded Flag fundraisers we have in our stores. Most importantly, our guests always humble us with their outpouring of support, and I’m confident this year will be no different.”
Dine-in guests who donate to the Give $5 and Give $10 campaigns also will be invited to fill out a Folded Flag Foundation certificate to honor a veteran in their lives. The special certificates will be displayed within their local O’Charley’s location for the duration of the fundraiser.
“The Folded Flag Foundation was able to award more than 850 scholarships and more than $4 million dollars, the largest for a single year to-date, for 2023-2024 because of the continued efforts of O’Charley’s to raise money for, and create more awareness of, our mission,” says Folded Flag President Kim Frank. “We consider the brand as true partners with The Foundation and always celebrate the support they provide. We look forward to another fantastic year for fundraising and to the donations that will be used 100% to support our Gold Star families.”
