Beaufurn, the manufacturer of fashion-forward, functional designs, announced it is introducing the Belle Armchair.

The variety of options available within this one structural framework creates the opportunity to invent an appropriate look for a wide array of applications including reception lobbies, guestrooms, restaurants, and meeting rooms.

The generously roomy dimensions of this chair evoke a combination of fashionable comfort and utilitarian design. Combining polished metal, exposed wood and long-wearing fabric, this well-proportioned chair is a multi-media powerhouse.

The curved Oak or Beech back panel can be ordered in any of Beaufurn’s standard finishes and the upholstered inside back and seat come in any of the graded-in fabrics or COM. In addition to the standard single fabric treatment to the seat, an optional second fabric may be specified as a complimentary design element that echoes the name in the belled shape of the upholstery. Options include chrome-tapered legs or swivel base.

“This is a statement piece that allows designers to customize the look for the environment they’re creating,” says Beaufurn’s president Bill Bongaerts. “It updates the traditional barrel chair by combining the fundamental round shape with innovative elements, such as the partial wrapping of the fabric over the back and arms for increased comfort, while substantially reducing the weightiness of the overall look with a much lighter and more contemporary base design.”
