Cane Simple, an all-natural liquid sweetener, announced its debut in several markets across the U.S., including the Northeast, New England, Texas, and the Mid-Atlantic.

The product, which easily allows for sweetening hot and cold drinks, is the first and only individually packaged liquid sugar and flavored sweetener on the market.

Following a debut at Kings Food Markets and Balducci’s locations in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, and Virginia, Cane Simple will be introduced to HEB stores in Texas; Price Chopper stores in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Pennsylvania; Big Y stores in Massachusetts and Connecticut; Harris Teeter stores in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington D.C, Maryland, Delaware, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida; and Shaw’s stores in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

Cane Simple is available in 24-count and 200-count boxes at MSRP $5.50 and $17 respectively.

Cane Simple is also available as a sweetener option for guests of all Jean-Georges, Daniel Boulud, BR Guest, and ESquared Hospitality restaurants, as well as 21 Club.

“Cane Simple was born out of a personal frustration. I disliked the way granulated sugar would never fully dissolve in iced coffee,” says creator Keith Treyball, who also serves as the president of ESquared Hospitality. “It got me thinking that there should be an individually packaged equivalent of simple syrup—real sugar, but in liquid form, so it more easily and consistently dissolves.”

Made with all-natural cane sugar, Cane Simple is gluten-free and contains no additives. Currently available in three flavors, original, vanilla-infused, and mint-infused, the product dissolves instantly in teas, coffees, cocktails, and can be used as a substitute for traditional sugar packets whether for foodservice, at home, or on-the-go.

Dissolving instantly into any beverage, Cane Simple can add a touch of sweetness or delicious flavor with barely a stir.
