House Foods America is pleased to introduce Curry House Vegetable Curry, a ready-to-eat curry sauce.  This new product will be available in spring, 2014 in three savory varieties: Vegetable, Vegetable with Beef, and Vegetable with Chicken, bringing the popular flavors of authentic Japanese curry to the kitchen table.  This delicious sauce contains no added MSG and serves as a terrific instant meal; ready in as quickly as 90 seconds.

In 1983, House Foods pioneered their unique Japanese curry recipe and used it to open their first Curry House restaurant.  Now, with eleven retail locations from Cupertino in Northern California to Irvine in Southern California, it is clear how popular this menu item is in all retail locations.  Now, with Curry House Vegetable Curry, consumers across the country can make this tasty new product quickly and easily at their leisure.

Japanese curry has a milder flavor and thicker consistency than traditional Indian curries.  The Japanese curry sauce served at Curry House is made from over 30 quality spices and vegetables. These vegetables, including onions and carrots, are cooked until they are incorporated into the sauce. Once combined, these healthy ingredients are no longer visible, yet still exist in the sauce providing their nutrients and flavor.

“Our signature curry sauce recipe has made our Curry House restaurants popular all throughout California” says Yoko DiFrancia, House Foods’ PR and Marketing manager. “Now we are happy to give our customers a delicious and convenient way to enjoy the sauce without leaving home.”
