Vida & Estilo Restaurant Group, a hospitality pioneer, in partnership with The Culinary Edge (TCE), America’s leading culinary innovation agency, launched a new all-day café concept in Miami’s Brickell City Centre.

Created to connect with Miami’s Latin community and discerning diners alike, Café Americano Diner is a casual spin-off of Vida & Estilo’s popular, upscale Café Americano, which currently has two locations in Las Vegas and two in Miami Beach, in addition to the new Brickell restaurant.

Jamil Dib, Co-founder and creative visionary behind Vida & Estilo, says “We are incredibly excited about this launch – while our group has specialized in Tourist destinations until now, this opening marks our groups’ first scalable mainstream fast casual brand. We believe we have a unique opportunity to bring our particular culinary style to a wider audience, in Miami and across the U.S.”

Miami-based Vida & Estilo, which owns more than 30 restaurants in Mexico, Las Vegas, and Miami, teamed up with The Culinary Edge, based in San Francisco, to conceive and bring to life this unique diner concept, which features an innovative menu that blends the diverse culinary influences that define Miami and appeals to the next generation of diners. The all-day eatery fuses American fare with a Latin twist for a variety of standout breakfast and brunch options, sandwiches, salads and bowls, small bites, and desserts, including:

  • Tres Leches French Toast – Brioche, tres leches custard, cinnamon, rum dulce de leche, corn flake crumb, whipped cream, and strawberries
  • Cubano Club – Roasted mojo pork shoulder, smoked ham, Swiss cheese, sliced pickles, and mustard on toasted Cuban bread; served with yucca fries and chimichurri crema
  • Adobo Tofu Bowl – Cilantro rice, adobo tofu, roasted poblanos and onions, black beans, shaved cabbage slaw, blue corn tostado, and microgreens
  • Beet Tiradito – Roasted red beets, citrus, pepitas, crispy shallots, microgreens, and avocado green goddess dressing
  • Churro Donut Sundae – Churro donut, vanilla soft serve, rainbow glitter sprinkles, and topped with a maraschino cherry

Inspired by the innovation of its menu, Café Americano Diner’s beverage program features curated cocktails that will satiate those Latin food cravings one sip at a time. Signature cocktails include a Maiz Old Fashioned featuring Nixta corn liqueur and mole bitters, a Pineapple Pisco Slush, and the OG Bloody Mary. Non-alcoholic beverages are equally intriguing, like the Dirty Cocochata featuring espresso, coconut horchata, cinnamon, and vanilla bean. Café Americano Diner seats 140 indoors and at the bar, with space for more guests on the covered outdoor patio.

“Miami boasts one of the most diverse populations in the country and the city continues to be a breeding ground for the ever-growing culinary scene. Our mission with Café Americano Diner was to really hone the fusion of American and Latin fares, while seamlessly elevating the brand’s urban eatery experience. We feel confident in our work with the innovative menu and look forward to seeing the positive response Café Americano Diner will receive from guests in Miami and in communities where Vida & Estilo grows the concept,” says Graham Humphreys, CEO at The Culinary Edge.

Vida & Estilo Restaurant Group tapped local interior design studio Mico Design and The Culinary Edge to bring the vibrancy of Miami to life inside the restaurant with thoughtful and well-curated décor. Upon entry, guests will immediately notice the contemporary, warm and relaxed atmosphere, consisting of Latin-inspired illustration work and music. The retro-modern aesthetic boasts vibrant and chic terrazzo tables, vintage soft leather chairs and booths, and a full service bar with antique gold shelving and rattan. Guests will have the option to dine and drink indoors, outdoors on the stunning patio, or can opt to step up to the pick-up window in the morning for coffee and delectable pastries.

Café Americano Diner will be located at 701 S. Miami Ave. in Brickell City Centre in Miami. The restaurant will be open daily, Monday through Sunday, from 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.
