The Toasted Yolk, a full-service eatery featuring breakfast, lunch and brunch favorites, will open its newest restaurant on Monday, May 1 in Savannah, GA. It is the first Toasted Yolk location in the state of Georgia.

The new restaurant is located at 201 James B Blackburn Dr. at the site of the former 201 Seafood Restaurant. The building will feature indoor seating and an outdoor patio. The café will be open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Toasted Yolk serves its unique breakfast and lunch specialties, as well as its boozy brunch cocktails that can be enjoyed at the full-sized bar or on the patio. The menus offer meals that can be savored throughout the day, allowing diners to enjoy egg specialties and coffee in the morning, boozy cocktails and savory pancakes at brunch, and a variety of delicious salads, sandwiches and soups during lunchtime.

The new restaurant will be owned by Sandy Pardeshi and his brother. They were born in India before coming to the United States in the early 2000’s. The two have partnered on several restaurant concepts in Savannah over the years, including Taste of India, 201 Seafood Restaurant, Sam Snead’s Savannah, and 201 Tapas Lounge. The brothers also currently own a liquor store in the area.

“We have owned several restaurants in Savannah and we were very intrigued by operating our first breakfast and brunch concept,” says Pardeshi. “We were very impressed with the presentation, ambiance and quality of food at the Toasted Yolk, and we know customers in the area will love it.”

The Toasted Yolk Savannah restaurant will hold its grand opening on Tuesday, May 2. Ten percent of the sales from the day will be donated to the 200 Club of the Coastal Empire, a local organization that provides financial assistance for families of fallen officers. The restaurant will give away free donuts and half price mimosas and raffle off a chance for three customers to win free breakfast or lunch (one meal per week) for a year.

“Sandy and his brother are experienced restaurant operators with a long history of serving customers in the Savannah market,” says Toasted Yolk Co-Founder Chris Milton. “They are also deeply involved in several local charitable organizations, and these qualities make an ideal fit for what we look for in a Toasted Yolk franchise owner. We are excited to bring the first Toasted Yolk to the state of Georgia.”
