Following the overwhelming success and fanfare from its Kansas debut in Overland Park earlier this year, JINYA Ramen Bar is ready to give The Sunflower State even more of its authentic bold noodles with thick, rich broth.

On April 24, the popular Japanese ramen brand will open its doors to the Wichita community with a new location at 124 S. Broadway, inside the Wichita State Tech NICHE building. Soon, “real ramen culture” will be coming to the banks of the Arkansas River with JINYA offering more than a dozen signature dishes that are slowly simmered for 20 hours to ensure a deep flavor, served fresh and piping hot!

Grand opening festivities will begin at 11 a.m. with Wichita Mayor Dr. Brandon Whipple and Wichita State University Technical Program President Sheree Utash joining members of the city council and Greater Wichita Development Corp. to mark the occasion.

“In just our short time in Kansas, we’ve already felt so welcomed by the community,” says JINYA Founder and CEO Tomo Takahashi. “The JINYA experience is like no other and we can’t wait to share it with the people of Wichita. Our new restaurant is absolutely beautiful, so please come join us for our grand opening and discover how just flavorful and varied ramen can be.”

Once open, regular hours for the new JINYA location in Wichita will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. every Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

At JINYA, experience ramen like it’s meant to be – with thick, rich broth in perfect balance with flavorful noodles. Discover a wide array of authentic toppings, from tender pork chashu to shrimp wonton. Then, elevate the experience further by pairing it with tapas or a craft beer. JINYA is ramen culture, where the relationship between broth and noodles is serious but delicious business.
