Thompson Hospitality, the largest minority-owned food service management company in the country, is announced the addition of Willie T’s Seafood Shack to the group’s impressive restaurant portfolio in the DMV region. This is the second Willie T’s opening within a year with the flagship location opening its doors last November in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

The restaurant is envisioned as the perfect spot for delicious, comfort-oriented seafood and all the fixings. Located at 9326 Georgia Ave, the fast casual-style eatery opened its doors last Monday, March 27th, and will join the likes of Thompson Hospitality’s other popular brands such as matchbox, Big Buns Damn Good Burgers, Maker Union, Milk & Honey, and more.

The 1,200-square-foot location will have 12 coveted seats for counter service and feature a menu built around big flavors with take-out and delivery options available. Diners can expect deliciously seasoned fried and grilled menu items varying from Breaded Delta Catfish, to Shrimp Baskets, to Battered Cod. The standout menu items are notably the fresh Lobster Rolls and Jumbo Lump Crab Rolls, both served in 4oz and 6oz options. Want to try a little bit of everything? Try the Willie T’s Mixed Platter which features Jumbo Shrimp, your choice of Breaded Catfish or Battered Cod, and a side of French Fries seasoned with Old Bay. Willie T’s also offers a variety of side items including hushpuppies, fried onion petals, mac & cheese, coleslaw, and french fries. All meals can be rounded out with a decadent slice of Red Velvet or Chocolate Cake.
