Grumpy’s Restaurant, an award-winning full-service Americana breakfast, lunch and brunch diner, announced its newest opening. The diner is coming to the Yulee community to continue its success and popularity. The new location, located at 76030-6 William Burgess Blvd., Yulee, FL in the Crossings at Wildlight shopping center, will be opening on Monday, February 27.

Husband and wife duo and longtime Nassau County residents, LeAnne & Ray Rhoden are the newest owners in the Grumpy’s Restaurant Franchise. As the brand has seen increasing levels of demand in Florida, the duo is excited to finally bring the popular diner to Yulee after signing a lease and franchise agreement with the Grumpy’s team in 2021. LeAnne brings over 25 years of successful quick service restaurant franchise ownership experience to the table and is ready to put her skills to work in her new venture.

“I’ve spent so long in the restaurant industry because I enjoy being able to serve my community and bring them together over a meal,” says LeAnne. “Ray and I are lifelong residents of Nassau County and have seen the great success Grumpy’s has had in the surrounding areas. We can’t wait to bring it to our hometown.”

With four open locations in Orange Park, Middleburg, St. John’s and Neptune Beach, Grumpy’s prides itself on made-to-order and always-made-from-scratch comfort food and sweet southern hospitality all at a working-class price. Grumpy’s serves breakfast, lunch and brunch along with an array of daily and weekly chalkboard specials which include a variety of sandwiches, homemade soups, salads, signature coffee, freshly squeezed juices, homemade hot chocolate and desserts.

“Our Grumpy’s family work extremely hard to provide the best service and food to the communities we serve,” adds Daniel DeLeon, president and CEO of Grumpy’s. “We’re honored to be the leading breakfast and lunch provider in Jacksonville and the surrounding areas, and hope to continue to keep expanding in order to bring our food to more people. As we continue to grow, we want our team to grow with us and we plan to keep hiring more members to add to the Grumpy’s family.”
