Agricole Hospitality’s Morgan Weber, Ryan Pera, and Vincent Huynh announced an expansion of their restaurant group with a second location of their popular Houston bar, Eight Row Flint, which opened over the weekend in the Second Ward neighborhood east of downtown. Located at 3501 Harrisburg Boulevard, the second location is an exciting advance for the beloved modern ice house concept, which debuted in the Heights neighborhood in 2015. A Houston mainstay, Eight Row Flint is known for its creative signature cocktails, housemade tortillas, and extensive selection of whiskey and agave spirits, a legacy that will continue at the second outpost.

“It’s been fun to look closely at Eight Row Flint with fresh eyes and see how we can take it to another level in the East End, where we see a lot of excitement and growth,” say Agricole Hospitality owners Ryan Pera, Vincent Huynh, & Morgan Weber. “There are plenty of through-lines between the two locations and guests can definitely find some Eight Row Flint favorites on the menu, but we approached this spot with a more mature eye and are excited about the new life we’ve breathed into the concept.”

Three longtime Eight Row Flint team members have worked closely with Huynh, Pera, and Weber to lead the expansion. General Manager Christina Ramey, who has been with Eight Row Flint since its inception over eight years ago, now oversees both locations as the new Eight Row Flint Concept Manager, and Christian Garza, formerly Assistant General Manager at Eight Row Flint, rises into the General Manager role at the new location. Marcelo Garcia – an integral part of the Agricole team since 2013 –now serves as Executive Chef of Eight Row Flint, running the food operations at both locations.

On the Menu

Eight Row Flint has gained a loyal following as one of the first bars in the country to offer Ranch Water, and the team continues to innovate their cocktails with a list that also includes carbonated draft favorites and seasonal margaritas. While the cocktail program continues this approach, this new location of Eight Row Flint offers a more tightly focused cocktail list than its predecessor, highlighting whiskey and agave spirits and offering an entirely new line-up of cocktails.

A full kitchen allows for expanded food offerings at the East End location, including Gulf seafood preparations and inventive takes on Mexican dishes like empanadas and campechana, alongside signature Eight Row favorites like Brussels Sprouts Tacos.

The Space

The space was completely renovated to create an inviting and comfortable atmosphere suited to the concept, with rustic elements such as salvaged wood and duck canvas. A custom rickhouse centers the dining room as a nod to the Heights location, and art throughout the building – including a stairway mural painted by General Manager Christian Garza and his young daughter – elevates the space with a colorful, playful hand.

In addition to indoor bar and table seating for almost 200, Eight Row Flint boasts an expansive rooftop patio with ample standing space and seating for 80. Conveniently located along the METRORail Green line, Eight Row Flint is an ideal gathering spot before, during, or after a game.

Hours of Operation

Eight Row Flint is open seven days a week from 2am to 2pm.
