Following the fantastic news of JINYA Ramen Bar’s stellar growth to cap off 2022, it turns out that 2023 has even brighter days ahead.

Ramen culture is a serious, but delicious, business and the acclaimed restaurant that saw area development growth at a 120% rate last year has its sights set on taking that even a step further in 2023. Including its landmark 50th location having opened in Long Beach on Feb. 6, JINYA is projecting 15 new openings this year to nearly double its 8 openings in 2022. On top of that, area development growth is expected to increase by another 75+ units nationwide by this year’s close.

“We knew communities across the country would be excited to see how we do ramen, but we are pleasantly surprised at how much the love for JINYA has taken off over the last few years.” says JINYA Ramen Bar Founder and CEO Tomo Takahashi. “It’s so humbling and something we dreamed of when we opened our first ramen bar more than 10 years ago.”

JINYA Ramen Bar is operated by JINYA Holdings, Inc., which also operates bushi by JINYA, Robata JINYA, LBD Japanese Bar and Lounge, and JINYA Ramen Express. In addition to the rapid growth of its lead brand, a new bushi by JINYA – which specializes in ramen, hand rolls and karaage (Japanese friend chicken) – opened in Rancho Cucamonga, California earlier this month.

At JINYA, guests can experience ramen the way it’s meant to be – with thick, rich broth in perfect balance with flavorful noodles. Discover a wide array of authentic toppings, from tender pork chashu to a perfectly cooked and seasoned poached egg to fresh garlic, and elevate the experience further with curated appetizers or a craft beer.
