Gordon Ramsay North America announced that Ramsay’s Kitchen, a signature dining concept by Michelin-starred television personality, Chef Gordon Ramsay, will open a new location in Naperville, IL in Spring 2023. The restaurant will be located at 39 W Jefferson Avenue and will give guests a glimpse into Ramsay’s personal kitchen. The all-day dining menu will celebrate Ramsay’s most inspired, talked about, and favorite dishes from his esteemed culinary career and travels, including his most beloved dishes such as Pan-Seared Scallops and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Ramsay’s Kitchen Naperville will accommodate more than 160 guests with a 5,656 square-foot layout including bar and lounge, main dining room, two private dining areas, and a seasonal patio. The restaurant’s atmosphere will be casually elegant as guests enjoy carefully crafted menu items in a relaxed and approachable environment. The history of Naperville motivated the restaurant’s design, while drawing inspiration from Chef Ramsay’s heritage with an understated touch of Britannia.
The space was originally used as Oswald Pharmacy from 1930-1980, before transitioning into a restaurant space. The open-concept kitchen will be at the heart of the room, allowing guests front row viewing of the culinary team at work, and see the quality and freshness of the ingredients firsthand.
The bar’s custom millwork will reference the apothecary store formerly in the space, introducing modern details while retaining the artful character, and local vernacular, including the original limestone wall made from the abandoned quarry, now Centennial Beach.
Ramsay’s Kitchen Naperville will be Chef Ramsay’s second Chicago area-based restaurant, following Gordon Ramsay Burger which opened in Chicago in December 2021. The restaurant will bring over 120 jobs to the Naperville market. Interested applicants should visit https://grnacareers.com/.
