This November, Troy Guard’s Celebrity Chef Taco Series welcomes Chef Tristen Epps. Chef Epps presents his take on the taco, the Mountain Dolphin Taco. The Mountain Dolphin Taco is a surf and turf story featuring slow braised Colorado lamb and Plancha seared Florida Mahi with salsa matcha, pickled red onion and mango ($6.50). Chef Epp’s Taco will be available November 21 until December 2, 2022.
TAG Restaurant Group (TRG) Guard, kicked off this exciting series in January 2022 with his mission to raise funds to help the communities affected by the devastating January Marshall Fires with a fundraising program benefiting Boulder Community Foundation. He wanted to give other Colorado chefs the opportunity to get creative and raise funds for a charity near and dear to their hearts.
$1 of every taco goes towards Chef Epps charity of choice, Black Resilience in Colorado (BRIC), which directs resources to address systemic racism and its impact on Black communities across the seven-county Metro Denver region. BRIC grants support Black nonprofit organizations led by and serving Black communities to withstand current crises and build long-term sustainability.
Los Chingones’ continues their Celebrity Chef Taco Series, with proceeds from each Taco benefitting a cause chosen by that month’s guest chef. Read below for details on the next Celebrity Chef.
