Fiserv, BentoBox’s parent company, announced the expansion of its platform offerings with the addition of Nextable. Nextable, a cloud-based reservation, waitlist, and table management system (TMS) that allows restaurants to seamlessly connect with their diners will be integrated into the BentoBox and Clover platforms to create a powerful product offering for restaurants. Nextable is the third Fiserv acquisition in the restaurant technology space, including BentoBox and Clover.
Nextable enables restaurants to manage an omnichannel guest arrival experience with a robust reservation and table management platform including integration with Reserve with Google, automated waitlist functionality, direct SMS text communications and customer relationship management tools. With this acquisition, BentoBox and Nextable will help restaurants build direct customer relationships and create differentiated diner experiences, ultimately driving new revenue streams.
Krystle Mobayeni, BentoBox Co-founder and Head of Restaurants at Fiserv, will lead the Nextable integration. In time, the acquisition will make it even easier for restaurants to efficiently manage tables, increase diner loyalty, and deliver even more distinct hospitality experiences.
