The Social Order, iconic Oklahoma-grown dining collective, welcomes David Gilbert as director of culinary operations, further bolstering the talent in group’s hospitality portfolio.

“We are thrilled to welcome David’s outstanding talents to The Social Order’s culinary team,” says Brian Bogert, founding partner and president of The Social Order. “He will lend his culinary prowess to support our full portfolio including The Jones Assembly, SPARK, Fuzzy’s, Dave’s Hot Chicken and future projects in the works. We’re very excited to see how he crafts menus that will only further elevate the dining experience at each of our establishments.”

DAVID GILBERT, DIRECTOR OF CULINARY OPERATION

Chef David Gilbert joins The Social Order with a lifetime of culinary passion and decades of experience in the kitchen. His culinary inspirations come from years cooking and dining across the globe and working in some of the world’s most renown restaurants. In his new role, Gilbert oversees culinary operations for The Social Order including menu ideation, procurement, personnel management, and catering. Gilbert’s passion for creating flavorful, stylized dishes translates seamlessly into The Social Order’s standard of elevated dining and fast casual innovation.

Chef Gilbert’s exceptional background includes experience as a fine dining chef in great cities throughout Europe, United States, Caribbean, and Asia. In 2010, Gilbert had the honor to represent the U.S. at the World Expo in Shanghai and received a James Beard Award nomination in 2013for Best Chef for the Southwest region. Most recently, Gilbert served as the executive chef of the Omni Hotel in Oklahoma City.
