Your 3rd Spot, the innovative, vibe-forward eatertainment brand launching its first location in 2022 at The Works in Atlanta’s Upper Westside, has announced the addition of accomplished local culinary talent, Stuart Rogers, to their leadership team. Rogers will serve the role of Director of Culinary Innovation with a focus on evolving social dining by creating shareable, locally-sourced menu items designed to enhance the experience and deepen the connection between guests.

Rogers brings with him an impressive resume traversing Atlanta’s local food scene. He most recently served as Chef de Cuisine at the twice James Beard Award nominated Lyla Lila in Midtown, which was also named to the New York Times Top 50 Best Restaurants list. He has also excelled in his roles as Executive Chef at Oak Steakhouse and lead cook at Ford Fry’s JCT Kitchen and Midtown’s The Optimist, which was honored during his tenure as the best restaurant in the country by Bon Appetit in 2012. Rogers was also recognized as one of the “Top 5 Chefs to Watch ” in The Atlantan Magazine.

“We have a very unique, upscale entertainment experience and an incredibly exciting food program that perfectly matches the upscale energy,” says Founder, Josh Rossmeisl. “We needed a Chef who could create a unique culinary experience that would resonate with our vibrant Atlanta community, and Stuart brings creativity, along with a refined passion for great food which is as thoughtful, progressive and innovative as every aspect of our brand.”

Notably absent from Your 3rd Spot are dedicated dining rooms and traditional menus. Instead, Rogers’ inspired “small plates” food program will put his signature creativity on display as dishes will be served directly to guests wherever they are within the 25 to 30 thousand square foot spaces. The food will be a part of a fully integrated dining and entertainment experience that utilizes Your 3rd Spot’s cutting edge digital platform for easy ordering.

“Your 3rd Spot is a place I’d want to go with my friends, and I’m designing a menu that will match the vibe of our brand,” explains Rogers. “Dining should be an experience for all of the senses, and we’ll be delivering on just that to create food that’s as fun as it is delicious. Get ready for a whole new take on social dining, Atlanta!”
