Forest Development announced that acclaimed chef and restaurateur David Burke has selected Nautilus 220 as the location for his first restaurant in Florida.

The luxury development, currently under construction at 220 Lake Shore Drive in Lake Park, FL, is alongside an active marina and includes condominiums, retail shops, and professional offices.

The two-level, 7,500 square foot waterfront restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating will feature modern American cuisine and open in September 2024 upon completion of Nautilus 220.

“We are excited to welcome David Burke and his team to Nautilus 220, said Peter Baytarian, Managing Partner, Forest Development. He is a successful and passionate culinary master who will create a true destination restaurant for our residents and the community.”

“Of course, we’re looking forward to entering the Florida market, but what’s really exciting is to be doing that as part of the Nautilus 220 project because it is going to re-define luxury living in northern Palm Beach County,” says David Burke, CEO, David Burke Hospitality Management whose current roster of 17 restaurants are in NY, NJ, NC, CO and Saudi Arabia. “It’s a one-of-a-kind development and we’re going to bring a unique and unexpected experience to Nautilus 220.”

Burke envisions a waterfront brasserie serving some of the signatures from his repertoire of creative modern American dishes, along with those created specifically for the new restaurant that will take advantage of the local catch and other Florida-centric ingredients. They will be presented in a visually stunning space that will showcase custom-made blown glass elements and take full advantage of the views its waterside location will afford.
