Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar invites guests to experience the next Taste & Learn on Saturday, March 19, at 5 p.m. Taste & Learn is Ferraro’s popular, monthly wine-tasting and education event that provides illuminating wine education along with a menu of expertly prepared, authentic Italian small plates crafted by Chef Mimmo Ferraro.

The March Taste & Learn event spotlights wines from Dark Star Imports, which will take guests on a tour of Italian winemakers, starting with Zýmē From Black To White, a stunningly rich and complex white blend made from indigenous Italian grape varieties from Veneto, Italy. Next on the menu is Podere Le Ripi Rosso di Montalcino, a bold, deep ruby red wine made from Tuscany’s famous Sangiovese grapes. Valori Sant’Angelo Montepulciano d’Abruzzo—a red, bold and structured wine—and Podere Le Ripi Brunello di Montalcino—another full-bodied red—round out the evening’s selections.

“We are always excited to teach our guests about Italian wines and look forward to our monthly Taste & Learn events,” says Gino Ferraro, owner, Ferraro’s. “This month’s experience will allow guests to enjoy some of Italy’s most highly regarded wine regions—from Veneto in the north down to Abruzzo east of Rome.”
