The Electric Jane, Nashville’s newest restaurant and entertainment venue, announced its grand opening to the public on Friday, February 11.

Located directly between Nashville’s famed Music Row and the Gulch, The Electric Jane will offer an elevated food and beverage menu alongside a curated live music program blended with an evolved interior design. Partnering with Jason Scoppa is longtime collaborator and restauranteur Sam Bakhshandehpour, who previously worked with Scoppa to launch the milestone Hollywood venue The Sayers Club. In reteaming for The Electric Jane, the pair creates an unrivaled food, beverage and entertainment experience.

“My life is one of passion and working with people that I love. I am fortunate to partner with world class creative talents who unite people through the power of food and music. I admire Jason, as he always leads with creativity, heart and authenticity,” says co-founder Bakhshandehpour.

INSIDE THE SCENE

Anchored by its culinary lineup, The Electric Jane’s menu is as eclectic and well-traveled as the talent who grace its stageChef Ryan Costanza delivers a variety of globally inspired signature dishes that are sophisticated and comforting – including Parisian gnocchi, oyster mushroom skewer, Supper Club burger, Japanese yellowtail crudo and Greektown classic Saganaki. Small, shareable plates encourage a robust tasting experience, and – just like patrons may never know who will show up to perform on stage – surprise off-menu items can also be expected.

A brunch program, designed to bring a high-energy yet elevated “power brunch” to Nashville, will launch opening weekend featuring dishes like French omelette with caviar, carnivore and vegetarian breakfast boards, tableside Funfetti donute experience and a build-your-own Bloody Mary.

Set within a gorgeous 7,500 square feet interior designed by Scoppa, The Electric Jane features teal tufted banquettes surrounding a Carrara marble hexagon bar, complete with a show-stopping lightbox halo. The staff will be tailored in luxury, advanced ready-to-wear, created in collaboration with fashion house Balsa.NYC by Michelle Shore.

WHO IS JANE?

Bakhshandehpour and Scoppa’s previous collaboration The Sayers Club solidified the latter’s reputation as a visionary in his field. With an intimate luxurious aesthetic and deep knowledge of music, Scoppa combined a session-quality house band with established and emerging vocalists. The Sayers Club produced weekly performances from legends like Prince, Slash and Stevie Wonder, all before intimate audiences not exceeding 300 guests.

Previously, Scoppa spent a decade programming scene-defining spaces in Southern California, including Bardot and The Green Door. Bakhshandehpour says The Electric Jane is the synthesis of his career. The new venue is named for Scoppa’s grandmother, whose piercing eyes served as inspiration for the emotional and visual tone of the new space.

“Jane’s eyes were electric, they were so blue,” says co-founder Jason Scoppa. “I spent my childhood tagging along to low-lit dinners at entertainment clubs on a Saturday night. We would often end up at the same place the next morning for brunch. The Electric Jane offers a contemporary take here, evoking nostalgia in a modern way through our design, food, beverage and programming.”

“The Electric Jane is the culmination of our biggest passion: to unite people through the power of food and music,” says co-founder Sam Bakhshandehpour, whose firm The Silverstone Companies, co-founded by John Wang, houses a portfolio of top restaurants and bars, including the operations of chef José Andrés’ food and media platforms. “We have been working to perfect the space and our menu for months and are so excited to finally be vocal about what we have to offer Nashville. The community here has been incredibly welcoming so far and we look forward to giving locals and visitors alike an experience they can’t find anywhere else.”
