Clyde’s Restaurant Group (CRG), a subsidiary of Graham Holdings Company, has announced that it will close its Reston Town Center location effective May 21, 2022.

Clyde’s of Reston has been serving the community since 1991. “From its earliest days, Clyde’s of Reston has been a part of the extraordinary Reston neighborhood as a comfortable and timeless gathering place,” says John McDonnell, CRG President. “Clyde’s has had a tremendous 31-year run in the Town Center and we are so grateful for the steadfast support of the community.”

“Clyde’s has been an important and valued part of the Reston Town Center community for many years,” says Jake Stroman, Boston Properties Executive Vice President. “While the CRG team has elected to close the Clyde’s location in Reston to focus on other locations, we are grateful for the memories and look forward to the many exciting opportunities to come for both Clyde’s and Reston Town Center.”

CRG plans to retain the Reston staff at other CRG locations throughout Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. “Our priority is taking care of our people,” says McDonnell. “Our other locations will benefit greatly from Reston’s capable and dedicated team.”

According to Jeff Owens, CRG Chief Financial & Corporate Development Officer, the company remains committed to operating a restaurant in the greater Reston area. Owens says, “We are very excited about the growth and development activity in the area and are eager to share some big news soon.”
