Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar invites guests to experience the next Taste & Learn on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 5 p.m. Taste & Learn is Ferraro’s popular, monthly wine-tasting and education event that provides illuminating wine education along with a menu of expertly prepared, authentic Italian small plates crafted by Chef Mimmo Ferraro.

February’s Taste & Learn event spotlights the wines of Prunotto. The Prunotto estate is located in Alba, the most important city in Italy’s Langhe area, located halfway between Barbaresco and Barolo in northern Italy. The winery is named for Alfredo Prunotto, and it was later acquired by the Antinori family who have built upon its original success. Today, the winery represents the perfect balance between tradition and innovation, using state-of-the-art technology to express and interpret this historic winemaking territory’s many nuances.

“We are always excited to teach our guests about Italian wines and look forward to our monthly Taste & Learn events,” says Gino Ferraro, owner of Ferraro’s. “This month’s experience will enable attendees to experience some of the Piedmont region’s most notable wines—Barolo and Barbaresco.”
