Iconic, Chicago-based hospitality group DMK is expanding to New York City for the first time with two new concepts: Office Hours and The Landing, both located at the newly redeveloped PENN 1 building in the heart of the Penn District. Office Hours, a curated grab-and-go food and beverage outpost located on the ground level, opens Monday, November 15th, with The Landing, a full-service bar and restaurant on the building’s second floor, following later this year. Both eateries are open to tenants, commuters and neighbors alike.
As the first foray into New York by DMK, the award-winning hospitality group led by legendary fourth-generation restaurateur David Morton, Office Hours and The Landing were created in partnership with Vornado Realty Trust, the developer reimagining the Penn District, and defining a new intersection of hospitality, technology and design. With projects in Chicago, Las Vegas and, most recently, Washington D.C., DMK is a leader in forward-thinking restaurant concepts and social gathering spaces maximized for accessibility and collaboration.
Located at 34th Street and Seventh Avenue, with convenient, close proximity to Penn Station, Office Hours and The Landing are no different, offering a work-first hospitality environment to one of Manhattan’s busiest neighborhoods. A technologically-advanced, property tenant app offers reservation and pre-order functionality and allows for geo-targeted food delivery throughout the amenity spaces which are designed to foster community and collaboration and to provide a fresh alternative to your workspace.
