Agave & Rye, a modern Tequila and Bourbon Hall, based at its roots in Covington, Kentucky, will bring its unique menu and dining experience to Chattanooga. The restaurant will open on Chestnut Street on October 13. As is the case with each new Agave & Rye restaurant opening, the opening in Chattanooga will mark the continuation of aggressive expansion plans come to life by independent restaurateurs Yavonne and Wade Sarber. For the dynamic team, Tennessee is yet another way for them to serve today’s restaurant-goers in need of an adventurous escape nationwide.

Agave & Rye prides itself on pulling inspiration for its aesthetic from the city itself. The restaurant’s eclectic and beloved concept walks an intriguing line between fine art and street art, which gives it an “urban grunge” feel with a mix of music that spans everything from 80’s pop hits to today’s essential tracks. Similarly, the new location in Chattanooga will evoke a style that blends soothing and contemporary décor, as well as design features that call to mind “Scenic City’s” culture.

“We absolutely love Tennessee, and Chattanooga has been on our list of cities to expand to for quite some time,” says Yavonne Sarber, Founder and CEO of Agave & Rye.  “We truly feel we’ve created an escape. In fact, we now call Agave & Rye a ‘playground’ where we get to create something that causes guests to want to leave their homes to experience something amazing and one-of-a-kind.”

The menu itself sets Agave & Rye apart from the traditional restaurant with street favorites, as well as epic tacos – such as “The Easy Ranchero”, featuring house-made tater tots, queso, salsa, and fried egg, or the “Swipe Right”, featuring herbed grilled chicken, sweet & spicy bacon and aged white cheddar, and our “Epic Chicken Sandwich”, featuring a crispy chipotle chicken, Agave & Rye’s Hotty Honey, serrano aioli, pimento cheese, spicy bacon, bourbon bacon BBQ beans, roasted tomatoes, and crispy wontons on a brioche roll. Signature craft cocktails offer a mix of modern and traditional, from Jalapeño Pineapple Margaritas to the Bourbon Peach Punch. Fresh, made-from-scratch recipes with only the best ingredients available offer inventive ways for guests to enjoy expertly crafted food, bite-by-bite and sip-by-sip.

The Chattanooga restaurant, seating 170 guests indoors and 100 guests on an outdoor patio, will sit at 185 Chestnut Street in Chattanooga, and will feature a free arcade for guests to play.
