Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub announced today that nearly $400,000 was raised during this year’s annual Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Jimmy Fund fundraiser with donations coming from guests at all Ninety Nine Restaurant locations, business partnerships, as well as the Ninety Nine’s dedicated team members and those who were a part of Team Lanzoni.

The Ninety Nine has supported the fight against cancer since 2006 when its own Team Lanzoni was formed in memory of a Ninety Nine team member who passed away due to cancer. Since its beginning, Team Lanzoni quickly gained enthusiasm and is now a company-wide initiative with dozens of team members participating in the Falmouth Road Face and Pan Mass Challenge. Annual fundraising efforts have expanded over the years beyond the Falmouth Road Race and Pan Mass Challenge including in-restaurant Guest donations at all Ninety Nine locations and support from valued business partners. Team Lanzoni and the Ninety Nine Restaurants have raised over $5.8 million over the past 16 years with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.

“This year we raised a remarkable amount of funds for these two deserving organizations, and I am beyond thrilled with the outpouring of support and continued loyalty by our guests and team members,” said Charlie Noyes, President, Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub. “Our passion to give back is something that we take pride in and the results of this donation will positively impact and change those affected by cancer.”

On September 8th, the Ninety Nine took over Fenway Park during Ninety Nine Night where representatives from Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund, Pine Street Inn and the Boys & Girls Club were on the field to accept check donations, and Ninety Nine Managers from the top fundraising restaurants threw out the first pitch. As a special thank you to Ninety Nine’s loyal guests, 99 REWARDS Members can enjoy any burger on the menu for just $5.99 every Wednesday (all day) in September available for Dine In or To Go.

The Ninety Nine continues to partner and support the Pine Street Inn with initiatives throughout the year like ‘Have a Heart’ which takes place in the winter and the upcoming annual Boys & Girls Club Fundraiser which will take place at all restaurants October 4th – October 31st.
